@reipuur i read once that the red baron as kinda excited with the dogfights and all, but then he started to turn into a pacifist, because he saw the death of his mates. maybe he wasnt a pacifist, but he wasnt the cold blooded murderer that most people think he was. that is because during the 30′s, hitler took him to make propaganda as the perfect guy with fake facts: jew hater, murderer, nazi, etc, but he had been dead for more than 12 years so he couldnt do anything about it.
I do find it interesting that the red Baron had a relationship with the nurse in the movie, because everything points that they disliked each other in real live. But its a good escuse to put some love in a movie. I think its a great movie with a lot af historical details, but the red baron was not the pascifist they like to show in movie. No pascifist makes 80 kills.
