Festival of funGet inspired with arts and crafts at the Penrith Regional Gallery and Lewers Bequest these July school holidays.
Book a place for the Kids Winter Festival on Saturday, July 9.
Come along and make a foam whirligig; go on a treasure hunt; design and race your own paper plane; pin the mittens on the gingerbread man; take a guess in the marshmallow guessing competition; or play a game of musical autumn leaves in the winter garden.
The Kids Winter Festival will cost $10 each child.
Adults don't pay, but must stay.

Snapshot show
Teenagers are invited to capture fun, freaky, festive or feisty moments from their lives in the annual Snap Shot competition, hosted by Penrith Regional Gallery and The Lewers Bequest.
A prize pool of $1200 will be split across the winner, highly commended and four commended photographs, in two age groups: 13-15 and 16-19.
Teenagers will be asked to present either one A3 photograph or two A4 photographs.
To enter, simply visit the Penrith Regional Gallery and The Lewers Bequest website www.penrithregionalgallery.org and fill out the online form, then email the photo and application form to penrith.regional.gallery@
gmail .com.
All entries are to be submitted digitally and the closing date is August 8.
Prize winners will be announced at the opening event on Saturday, September 17, 5pm-7pm. The exhibition will be on show from September 10 to October 30.
Bieber fever
Justin Bieber is coming to Penrith RSL Club. Well, not the real JB.
On Thursday, July 14 Penrith RSL brings you a rocking stadium-style tribute show, featuring Central Coast singer David Simes as Justin Bieber.
His larger-than-life pop star voice and trademark JB haircut, generates Bieber fever wherever he goes.
Teen queen Miley Cyrus, played by Jessica Vickers, will also make an appearance.
Jessica and David are the voices of Party in the USA and will entertain with popular songs from Justin and Miley.
Doors open at 10am and tickets cost $12. Bookings are essential.

The B?can by performing artist Liam Benson is unlike any other art masterpiece currently on display.
