EPD: Addams Family gang off the streets
Evansville Police say three members of a gang known as The Addams Family are off the streets.
Police say Anthony Rangel Jr, Danya Thomas, and a juvenile were arrested after a young man says members of the gang robbed and beat him while he was riding his bicycle.
Police say the incident happened on Friday night around Taylor and Judson.
Officers say the victim told them four men grabbed him off his bike, said "Someone's going to get killed in the Addams Family." Police say the victim told them that the gang said those words, while singing the tune of the Addams Family T.V. show theme song.
Police say the gang members are known in the area, and usually wear the color purple.
