Hudgins added, “Our global manufacturing and technology support capabilities are ideally suited to helping customers integrate and maintain complex telecommunications technologies. NEI offers not only the Oracle communications equipment, but all of the third party hardware and software needed to design and support a complete solution. This includes a complete frame of telecom equipment deployed anywhere in the world.”
“Oracle (SUN) has always had a strong presence in the communications market, and in order to maintain that position, the company needs to work more closely with partners (like NEI) to deliver a complete solution,” Hudgins stated.
OPN was designed to allow independent software vendors (ISVs), systems integrators, developers, resellers and consultants to work collectively in order to improve customer satisfaction and provide high level solutions. In addition, the release states that OPN gives partners the tools needed to better develop, sell and implement Oracle solutions.
Due to this collaboration with Oracle, NEI will now be able to sell services directly to Oracle to support their strategic customers.
